Despoina boli
With an analytical, methodical, reflective and curious mind, Despoina is an experienced Maths educator with vast experience as a teacher, coach, mentor, trainer and manager of GCSE, Functional Skills and A-level Maths, more recently serving as a Curriculum Manager in a large London-based General Further Education College.
Over the past 12 years, Despoina has closely collaborated with learners of various ages facing challenges in mathematics. She has successfully transformed their mindsets, enabling them to become more proficient and effective users of mathematical concepts. Despoina’s professional expertise extends beyond conventional classroom settings, as she has actively collaborated with educators across diverse subjects, contributing to the refinement and enhancement of their everyday teaching practices.
Despoina has specific interests in Maths pedagogy and curriculum development which has extensively explored through her two MAs in Mathematics Education and in Philosophy of Education. She is currently in the late stages of completing her Doctorate in Mathematics education focussing on the challenges GCSE resit learners encounter with word problems.

Nathan Chilcott
A leader and English teacher in both schools and the Further Education sector, both in the UK and overseas, Nathan is a consultant and coach, with specific experience in Teaching, Learning Assessment, leadership and change management within the field of English and Maths.
Leading teams which have achieved marked improvements in GCSE and Functional Skills English results, Nathan is well-positioned to support colleagues in colleges with strategic measures to enhance standards of Literacy and Numeracy and to support teachers and leaders to address whole college development priorities.
Nathan is PGCE qualified, holds a Bachelors and Masters degree and is currently undertaking an NPQSL whilst serving as a Head of School at a land-based Further Education College in the Midlands.
Beyond the classroom, Nathan enjoys spending time exploring the countryside with his rescue dog and is often found in the kitchen exploring cuisines of places he has travelled or ones he soon intends to.
